Gadaladeniya Raja Maha Vihara is located in Kandy district. After going about 1 km on Davlugala Road from Pilimathalawa, you will meet Gadaladeniya. This Gadaladeniya temple was also built with the patronage of the 4th King Bhuvanekabahu who built the Lankatilaka temple. The construction of this temple was also initiated by the minister Senadhilankara who built the Lankathilaka temple. Gadaladeniya temple is built on a natural stone cast.
